And still transitioning my paperwork from the old adoption agency to the new agency (cuz of the Hague crap) which has been a nightmare. They basically want me to complete an entire NEW dossier because everything is 4 years old....even though C2A2 will NEVER see it. I hate all this paperwork!!

So glad to hear yours hasn't been so rough. It's absolutely refreshing when something works out right for a change... :)Special Khttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11824577189457099837noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31481065.post-2052636359893109732010-03-12T17:25:13.665-05:002010-03-12T17:25:13.665-05:00Adoption usually goes so smoothly and without a hi...Adoption usually goes so smoothly and without a hitch, these days. I was adopted when I was a month old, and I remember my mom telling me horror stories about agencies, social workers and the entire process. I have friends who have gone through adoption in most recent years, and they had a typically easy time. (Except for the extensive paperwork and hassle with getting that all done and in.) I wish you the best of luck! I want to adopt too one day.Krissy @ ArtsyMomhttp://three-seventeen.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31481065.post-60986896569402139182010-03-09T10:11:42.288-05:002010-03-09T10:11:42.288-05:00Yay...so happy things are going well. We had the SW from Hell in VT who actually threatened us because I called the State on her because she told me her license had expired and she was waiting for a new one and we'd have to wait up to SIX MONTHS for the piece of paper proving it. I called the State and they said 'no, you just need a copy of her old license and a letter to say she is in good standing with the State'...I was miffed! Luckily our agency knew how to deal with crazy SW's so it was sorted out quickly...then wwe moved States and our new SW is an ANGEL! Our Homestudy took just a few days, was thorough, and complete and she always retruned calls. It's like night and day and finding the RIGHT SW is like winning the lottery...sounds like you finally have hit the jackpot!Snowflowers Mumhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01543028816090710198noreply@blogger.com
