This song speaks to me...
Ok, I know it's Miley Cyrus, and don't hate me for this...but I like the song. I *HATE* the video, so you all might want to close your eyes while this plays and just listen to the words. It speaks to me about the adoption, I feel we WILL get there someday. Yes, I know, I'm feeling cautiously optimistic (for now).
Someday we will be a family of three. I have to hold on to that hope because, after all, it's all we have.

TOTALLY agree with you about this song. I used it for my "Waiting" video (on the sidebar of my blog)
It is hard to reconcile that I like this song but it is by Miley Cyrus. Thanks for sharing...a needed reminder.

Definitely agree it is a great song to represent the journey but I wish someone else sung it. Her voice is so annoying! Brutal video too but I do love the lyrics.

O.K., I have a confession to make............I like Miley Cyrus. I know, try not to hold it against me too much. I attribute it to the fact that I worked with kids for such a long damn time.

I loved this song from the first time I heard it, too. And I have to admit that I rather like Miley Cyrus... I even came out of the closet and admitted that to a
co-worker just last week.
I hadn't seen the video before. Doesn't that path she's walking along kinda remind you of the Great Wall? It's a long, long climb but you're not alone on the path.
I like that song too! I can certainly see why it speaks to you. Plus, I like Miley.
Now I'm heading to itunes to find it and download it!
