I've been feeling really down all (mother's day) weekend. I used to love this day, years ago. I loved spending the day with my family.
The year that we tried to start our family was the same year that we lost my grandmother on mother's day. For the past 12 years it has sucked...a lot. I'm looking forward to the year when we can finally celebrate something.
I hate this feeling of helplessness.

I agree it really does suck. As each year passes it gets harder. All I know is this is my first Mother's Day with my daughter and the years of waiting have really faded with the blessing of my daughter. This too shall pass.

It sucks. No nice way to say it.
But someday we WILL celebrate this day. Someday....

Your feelings are totally understandable. Hopefully one year very soon you will have a reason to celebrate.
You know of course that I also thought of you on Mother's day as I tried to ignore what a sad day it still is for so many of us.
