How cool is this?

For those of you who know me, know my affinity for lovely soaps. I've been a Lush-a-holic for a few years now and I'm not afraid to admit it. ;)

Lately though, I've become bored with the "same old/same old" round bath bombs and was looking for something...different. Lo and behold, I found another company - a Canadian company - that does just that!

I found them through Bargain Moose which is a website that finds discounts for Canadian companies and posts about them. It's pretty awesome, if you don't have them on your blog reader, you should add them.

As I was perusing their site a couple of months ago I noticed Candied Bath Bakery. Yes, bath bakery. They design their bath bombs, bubble bars and soaps into the shape of baked goods!

Take a minute and peruse their site. You won't believe that it's actually soap. Go ahead, I'll wait...

(The site is a little sparse right now, as they're currently restocking their shelves.)

I started following Candied on Facebook as well as on Twitter and noticed that they're having a contest.

As soon as Candied gets to 500 followers on Facebook and 500 followers on Twitter they're going to be giving away some of their product! They're really close on Twitter, so if any of you have a Twitter account, feel free to follow them. Also, "like" them on Facebook. Who knows, you might win something. :)

Since I've been helping Candied get more followers, I was contacted by the owner of the company today. As a thank you for helping her, she's going to be sending ME some free products! How cool is that?

Well...I never!

Josh and I got together with our BFFs and their kids for a night out. We decided to go to our "go-to" restaurant Boston Pizza, as usual. We normally go there at least once a month, give or take.

We had a delightful waiter who couldn't do enough for us. We placed our drink orders and I told him that we both like A LOT of lime. Usually when we've said that in the past, they'll toss a couple pieces of lime on the side of the glass. This waiter totally "got it" and he must have cut up at least two or three full limes and put them on a plate. It was awesome. :)

We placed our orders and everything came to the table quickly, and was oh-so-delicious.

We sat around, ate, talked and just had a really good time. BTW, the imagination of a certain four year old is amazing. ♥

The girls got their desserts and we continued talking. I swear we never run out of "interesting" topics to discuss. ;)

We asked for the bills and paid, and continued talking.

About ten minutes later, the waiter came over and said that he needed the table because they were going to have a party of 30 come in. I get it, it's a business and all, so we asked if he could move us to another table.

He couldn't, or wouldn't, not really sure, so in essence we were tossed out of Boston Pizza. Oh the humanity!

We all left the restaurant and came back to our place for more coffee and talking. I love when you just get into a really good conversation with good friends.

Not much more to say about that...I just never, in my wildest dreams, thought we'd get to this point. I was feeling hopeful a couple months ago that this was going to be our year...now I'm starting to doubt it. Blah.
