I'm in love...

For those of you that follow me on FB, you'll know of my love of addiction to beautifully scented soaps. A few weeks ago I discovered a store called Candied Bath Bakery, and if you read this post, you'll know that I was contacted by the owner of the store. They were (and still are) having a contest to try to get to 500 "likes" on FB and 500 followers on Twitter. If you're on FB, click "like" on her site and you'll be entered into the contest. What do you have to lose? Someone's going to win it...

I had done some poking around on FB and had a few of my friends go to the site and "like" her products. As a thank you, the owner told me that she was going to send some products my way! How awesome is that?

Today the items arrived...

What I love is how thoughtfully and well they're packaged. Believe me, it didn't take long until I tore the packages open gently, and lovingly removed them from their bags.

The four items she sent me were, from left to right:

A rootbeer scented french macaroon cookie, a happy birthday donut (which, to me, smells like a straight-from-the-bakery donut), a strawberry scented mini-cupcake, and two peanut butter cookies...and yes, they're all soap! Look at how cute they are!

I decided to try out the rootbeer scented french macaroon cookie and I have to admit it, I'm in love. The macaroon cookie, as with the others, are exactly as you would expect them to smell. The scent is strong, but not overpowering, and it lathered up really well. I'm tempted to try the others as well, but so far I'm really impressed with the first one.

FYI, she's having a sale at her store all this week and I suggest you stop by and take a peek at her products.

(Oh yeah, leave a comment for Candied here - she reads the blog - and support a small Canadian business at the same time...)
