Words I never thought I'd say...

I took a much needed break from blogging and I'm not entirely sure I'll be back at it, but I wanted to document this. Little One's room was set up two days before Mother's Day and it looks fantastic and the only way to describe it, is surreal. We have a crib in the house. After 68 months of waiting for our Little One, we're finally next. It's the most surreal feeling ever, and it hasn't fully hit me yet. In a little over four or five weeks we'll be seeing her/his face for the first time. We're going to have a baby. Wow.

So happy for you. When I saw how far along referrals had gotten, I popped over to see if you hinted about how excited you were. Enjoy this month, savor the excitement :)

We're a month behind you--which really means more like a year or so behind you.

SO glad for you.

Every time RQ posts the next update of referrals I always think of you and count the days. You are NEXT!

You know it's insane when I was only a month ahead of you with a LID of 8-8-06 and received our referral 5 days before Christmas and to see the CCAA move a whole month is 6 months. Sept should be done with. I'm so happy for you. I have checked in on your blog over the years and i'm looking forward to following you. There is "NO" greater JOY knowing your NEXT and because you know you are point blank. We missed the cut off date by one day in Nov and that feeling of knowing we were next was just incredible, the BEST feeling ever! We have had our little girl home not even 3 months yet and she was so worth our 1,959 days!
hugs,
Sherri
