I was sitting at my computer, minding my own business when I heard a LOUD crash followed by the house alarm going off. We have glass break sensors on our windows that, well, sense if one has been broken and they're EXTREMELY sensitive
My first thought was "oh my G-d! We're being robbed!" and I freaked out. I ran up the stairs to investigate, which probably wasn't the smartest move in the world, had it been a real robbery. Thankfully, it was just an overly curious cat who had jumped on the kitchen counter, knocked a plate on the floor (broke it) and tripped the sensor...and then gingerly tap-danced across the living room floor and scurried up the stairs to the master bedroom.
Damn cat.
Though he did have the cutest "Who me?" look on his face when I found him all curled up on the bed...

Cari
awwa! glad you're okay. and next time run to the neighbors. although it would have sucked to have the cops be like "ma'am, it's your CAT."
Whew. You scared me for a sec.
So you have a "cat burgler" in your house. Well at least you know the alarm works. That's too funny.
Glad it was only the cat though in all seriousness.
Silly kitty!
Keep smilin!
we had to disconnect our "glass break" sensors
one dogs bark hits the pitch
and sets the thing off.
no more, I'll just rely on them to eat an intruder.
cat burglar.......ha ha
Furbags...you never know what they're gonna pull off next.
I'd rather that cat burgler than the alternative.
Glad it was only a cat burglar, LOL.
that is a scary thing when something like that happens.
Lea
Cat burgler? LOL!
Glad it was nothing serious.
Man, you had me freaking out there for a minute~
I'm glad it was your cat!
Thank goodness it was the cat... I love how you talk about the look his face as to say 'who me'...
