What if...?

What if RQ is right?

What if most of March is referred this batch?

What if we saw our referral this year?

These are the thoughts that are running through my head tonight as I read about the rumour of most of March being referred this month. My initial thoughts weren't for myself and Josh, but of all my friends who are going through the process and MIGHT see the picture of their child in a few days or weeks.

When RQ is proven to be wrong (yet again), then you can all slap me and wake me from my delusions...but tonight I'm thinking of "What if...?"

Hey, who knows, I have gotten out of line so things should really start rolling :0)

It isn't really possible to start something with "now, don't get excited..." and then expect people not to get excited, is it? I'm floating out there with you, while trying to keep at least one toe firmly planted on the ground.

There will be a lot of scrambling people out there. Including us. I haven't started saving for Mat leave and haven't touched the immigration paperwork. On the other hand BRING IT ON!!!!!!!

I keep going back and forth between believing and not believing.

Shh... me, too. I haven't told the husband yet, but I did call my momma (who will travel with us to keep the Tongginator in line).

And we will be like Beth. Scrambling a bit. We have enough saved for the adoption, but we'll be wiped out if we travel soon. It's hard to get motivated to squirrel away money when you feel it's never gonna happen. Wait... isn't that a fable? Am I the grasshopper? Ack!

The thoughts of my procrastinated to-do list were flashing thru my mind last night as I had my own little freak out. I mean, I've prepared myself for mid-late 2010 for so long that I can't even imagine what sooner would be like. And I realized how unprepared I really am! LOL!

those are the best kind of what if's... i'm hoping so hard with you- because every child waiting deserves this- they deserve a speed up most of all.

The what if's are rolling around here too. The "to do" list that I hadn't planed on pulling out until spring might just have to come out earlier. We will see.

Honestly though I don't believe it. It would be nice, but I'm not in the mood lately to get on yet another roller coaster.
