How does the tree not tip over? What's the purpose of this configuration?
Now this question is coming from a Jewish perspective, since I've had no first-hand exposure to tree-trimming, etc...
Wouldn't it be anti-climactic to put an angel up on the flat part of the tree?
Thoughts?

While it is extremely odd looking (and kinda ugly), it would definitely save on floor space and you'd be able to reach the presents easier without getting poked in the eye by branches. Interesting.
Weird.
It defies reason. My toddler would knock that devil over in a heartbeat! Not to mention what the dog, cat or 10-year-old would do! Have you seen the upside-down trees that attach to the ceiling and rotate so you can see everything on the tree?! Now that idea is weird!!!
Sam
I'm still trying to figure out the purpose of an upside down tree. I still don't get it. Maybe I'm just not trendy enough.
I don't understand the upside down tree either...Perhaps it is an Australian thing? Oi???
