For us, however, this new batch (at least according to China Adoption Forecast) has put us further and further behind. I figure, BEST case scenario, we'll see our referral sometime in the summer of 2009. I can't quite get into the mindset of saying it could be the year after that, let alone typing that number out...

cant wait to see the referrals..Im still hoping for better news soon!
I keep saying to myself: "But it WILL happen" It's working for now...most days!
There is still some wee Pollyanna piece of me that hopes for a shift in timelines. A girl can home.
grumble, grumble, mumble. It's a day for strawberry tarts at TH's. Maybe I'll have a chocolate danish this aft, if they haven't removed them from the menu. My emotional crutches.
I know I sound like a broken record, but there really isn't anything else to say except, "hang in there". What a sweet day it will be when you FINALLY receive your referral!! I sure hope I'm the one who gives you the wonderful news.
Sending you a hug....
Donna
Please pass me chocolate....

Doing my best steam engine imitation...chugging
Keep smilin!
Yeah, our projection is pretty much never, but we're still holding on.
I agree, I just can't wrap my mind around it! This wait sucks donkey balls!
I'm there with you in summer of 2009 - if I'm lucky! Someone in my travel group thought we'd be going in April 2008 -- a lovely though, but I had to burst her bubble.

The wait will speed up. I PROMISE you. Don't ask me how I know, I just know.
In the meantime, hang with Doris - she's got good ideas, that one... ;)
I prefer to bury my head in the sand. And keep it there. It's dark, but it's cool, and I can't read anything about time lines there....
I have always been a glass is full kinda person...I am starting to see a shift in that way of thinking...
blah
just blah
Ours says January 2010. Not good for us but great for the new families.
