One more thing.....

Sorry, I forgot to comment on the "Pay to View" section of the CCAA's website.

CB DOES have access to this, as do many other agencies. It's apparently still in the trial phase though, and there's more functions involved that they still have to develop. It's basically a way to send new files to the CCAA to save some time (it's NOT applicable to files that are already registered with the CCAA). Right now, there really isn't a whole lot of information to be gained faster by using this; mostly just LID's.

Thanks for answering the questions thus far. My question: When you hear the rumblings of a rumor, such as a change in procedure, requirements, referral rates, and so on.....do you:

1) sit on it until you're officially notified by the CCAA?

2) investigate it? in other words pro-actively ask the Chinese?

3) address it informally with your clients without waiting for confirmation from the CCAA?

or

?????

The reason I ask is that sometimes people start developing an antagonistic attitude towards some agencies because of the news or lack of news. Your thoughts?
