I think I'm going to be sick...

Well they found out what was making cats and dogs sick. How messed up is that? People were innocently and unknowingly feeding their pets rat poison. I hope none of you have been affected by the food recall. (Deuce wasnt affected, but now I have to go hug him.)

PaulaBrett said...: I currently have 2 boxes of the affected food at home. This is the usual food that my dog eats. Thank god that the number on the previous box was different than the recall but just in case I have tossed out the rest. I thought we were doing good paying extra and feeding her Iams. No more dog food for this little doggie. All dog food in my house from now on is being made by me. My dog loves the food I made. Ground chicken, food processors vegy's (she's not a vegy eater) and a little whole wheat pasta. She loves it and it won't kill her.
Tonight I am making her some dog biscuits.

They need to find out how this was put in the pet food and no punishment would be extreme enough in my eyes.

Sugar Cookies And Hope said...: I'm so glad that Bear's food wasn't in the recall at all. I don't even want to think about what would have happened to Joel and me if we had lost Bear and Cheetah within months of one another.
I have friends who have rats as pets. They are wondering why we protect our "cute" animals so well, but others get poisoned every day without a second thought. Any kind of cruelty to animals (regardless of the type of animal) is unjust and sickening.; Friday, March 23, 2007 8:13:00 p.m.

Lisa said...: We don't have a cat or a dog (fishies and a dwarf hamster) but I was horrified when I heard about this. It was probably some disgruntled worker who decided to get back at the company.
